Hungry...

God is so good to His people; but His people are not so good to Him. Why? Why do people insist on living there lives in anger as though the gov’t or God himself has forgotten them or owes them something. God has given us life and opportunity too freedom and justice; but we as people look over the greatest of these gifts, Grace, and continue pushing and bickering for “MORE”!!! That angers me!!! I’m pissed off when I see Christian living a double-life of “Sunday Youth Group” and “Monday-Friday whatever sinful else”.

I’ll bet it breaks God’s heart.

"I have been surprised to find that I am given more life, more hope, more moments of buoyancy and redemption, the more I give up. The more I let go, do without, reduce, the more I feel rich. The more I let people be who they are instead of cramming them into what I need from them, the more surprised I am by their beauty and depth." -Shauna Niequist, Cold Tangerines.

The answer is love my friend : )

I want to address this park of your blog. Something I am learning and working on is not judging other s and displaying God's grace to others just as he does to us.

Secondly if you are so "angry and pissed off" maybe you should go talk to the one who makes you feel this way. Talk about why you feel the way you do and what makes you feel this way.

i agree that there are some Christians who live a double life but I need to remember that I can't judge them. All I can do is love them and if we pray for them then God can convict them of their lifestyle, if it's really wrong. Sometimes we can get so many ideas of what's right in our eyes and we are quick to say that things people are doing is wrong and sinful.

I just want to encourage you to have an open mind and go to the source. Discuss things with them but at the same time show them grace just as God would. I know easier said than done but this is something I am learning as i grow. Please don't jump to conclusions, i am not saying that you are judging and that you are not showing God's grace. i am just sharing with you how I am dealing with some of these same issues.
